Class 1: Thinking About College

This class helps students feel comfortable with college admissions topics. Students explore their interest in college by participating in a series of workshops/presentations conducted by Literacy Pittsburgh staff and external partners. By the end of the class, students are more prepared to apply to college and pursue higher education.

Class 2: Getting Ready for College

This class helps students prepare to enter college. Students will continue to prepare themselves for the college experience by participating in classes led by Literacy Pittsburgh staff that were developed in partnership with several local college partners. By the end of the class, students will be more prepared to succeed in the college environment.

Class 3: Writing for College

This class helps students prepare for first-year college writing assignments. This class will require students to write during each class session. By the end of the class, students will have learned how to approach first-year college writing.
